Cookie notice

A plain account of the browser storage used by this site, the optional analytics choice, and how to change or remove stored preferences.

What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain. Similar browser storage, including local storage, can remember a choice without sending that value with every page request. This site uses local storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics.

Storage used

Hosting security logsDetect abuse and maintain availability; these are server records rather than browser cookiesNormally up to 90 daysWebsite host on our behalf

At publication, no analytics cookie is placed even when “Accept” is selected. Acceptance records permission should privacy-respecting analytics be enabled later. This table will be updated before any analytics identifier is introduced.

Essential and optional purposes

The consent preference is essential to honour your choice. Rejecting optional analytics does not block forms, navigation or service information. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site profiling or payment cookies.

Your choice

On a first visit, the banner gives equally visible Accept and Reject actions. You can remove the saved choice through your browser’s site-data settings; the banner will then ask again. You can also block local storage or all cookies in browser settings.

Disabling storage means the site cannot remember your decision, so the banner may return. Core pages and the enquiry form remain available.

Third-party content

Public images and web fonts may be requested from third-party hosts. Those providers receive ordinary connection information such as IP address and browser headers and may apply their own policies. We do not permit them to place marketing cookies through our consent component.
